Helping to keep education on track with Digital Twins
during Covid-19 pandemic
November 2020

Simumatik has been proud to have played a part in enabling students to continue with their studies remotely during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Many education leaders have been under immense pressure and uncertainty on how to deliver their courses and learning outcomes. Many universities and higher education institutions have had to close sporadically, meaning physical lessons cannot take place.
The Simumatik team has been working closely with Lecturers and Professors across the globe, to understand their learning objectives in fields such as electrical, mechanical, automation and robotic engineering.
The team have worked to create digital twins of their physical labs that allows whole classes of engineering students to access online from any location. This has given course leaders the flexibility to deliver tasks and practical learning exercises online and allow students to collaborate on projects in real-time.
